Privacy Policy
Effective 23 September 2026
Control Padel (control-padel.com) is a padel tournament platform operated by Rendy Reynaldy ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site, register for a tournament, or receive notifications from us, and how we handle it. We process personal data in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
1. Data we collect
Account data
- Name and email address.
- A password (stored only as a one-way hash), or your basic Google profile (name, email, profile photo) if you sign in with Google.
- Your role on the platform (for example player, referee, or admin).
Tournament registration data
Each tournament organizer decides which of these fields their registration form asks for:
- Name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, gender, date of birth, category, skill level, jersey size, and Instagram profile.
- Player photo.
- Identity and eligibility documents: KTP (scan and/or number), birth certificate, office ID card, institution name, RECLUB ID or membership.
- Proof of payment for the registration fee.
Match and tournament data
- Teams, groups, schedules, scores, standings, brackets, and match statistics you take part in.
Technical data
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and small values stored in your browser (such as your signed-in profile) so pages load correctly.
- Server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To process tournament registrations, check eligibility, and verify payments.
- To run tournaments: forming teams and groups, scheduling matches, scoring, and publishing results.
- To send you service notifications about your registration, payments, and matches by email and, if you opt in, WhatsApp.
- To answer questions through our tournament assistant and support channels.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. WhatsApp notifications
We send WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta.
- We only message you on WhatsApp after you opt in, for example by sending a message to our WhatsApp number or turning on WhatsApp notifications on the site.
- Messages are transactional: registration and payment status, team and schedule updates, match reminders, results, and replies to your own messages. We do not send promotional messages unless you separately agree to them.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop WhatsApp messages, or contact us. Email notifications continue unless you ask us to stop those too.
- To deliver messages, your phone number, message content, and delivery status are processed by Meta under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
4. Who can see or receive your data
- The public. Tournament pages publicly show player names, photos, teams, schedules, scores, standings, and brackets. Contact details and identity or payment documents are never shown publicly.
- Tournament organizers and staff. Admins and referees of a tournament you register for can see your registration data and documents to run that tournament.
- Service providers that help us run the platform: server hosting, email delivery, Meta (WhatsApp), Google (sign-in), and an AI provider that powers the tournament assistant using tournament information. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account exists. Registration data and documents are kept as long as needed to run the tournament and handle any payment or eligibility questions afterwards. Tournament results are kept as part of the public tournament record. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 7).
6. Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and identity and payment documents are available only to signed-in organizers of the relevant tournament. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your account and data;
- withdraw your consent, including to WhatsApp or email messages.
Email support@control-padel.com from the address on your account. We answer within 3 x 24 hours as required by Indonesian law. Some results may stay in the public tournament record in anonymised form.
8. Children
Some tournaments include junior categories. A player under 18 must be registered by, or with the permission of, a parent or guardian, who can exercise the rights above on the child's behalf.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top always shows the latest version, and we will notify registered users of significant changes.
